Spending time with my little Mayci was the best part of my whole summer. One of our favorite things that we did was take 'mom and tot' swim lessons. We had so much fun!! Mayci was the youngest in her class. She was able to take lessons with her cousin Emmitt and Britt, and our neighbors/friends Cleo and Natalie. There were a total of 5 moms and tots in the class. We learned that every song has a skill. Yeah, didn't think I was signing up for singing lessons along with the swim:) We sang twinkle twinkle little star, which helps them to lay on their back, look at the stars and float. I'm a little pancake, sung to the tune of "I'm a little teapot". It teaches them to rotate from being on their back to their bellies, and visa versa. The last day or two we sang "ring around the rosies", and when we said "we all fall down", we had to blow in their face(which makes them take a deep breath and hold it)and dunk them underwater. I thought for sure that Mayci would scream. Surprisingly she didn't, she didn't seem to be affected by it at all. Actually none of the kids did. I'm so glad that I signed us up to this. It will be an annual summer thing for sure!!

What kid doesn't love mirrors?

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Anytime they could grab a toy, Mayci always went for the little froggy:)

Most days we just walked to swim lessons:)
