We celebrated Carter's 10th birthday this last weekend. It was a pretty low key weekend, but that's how we like them. On Saturday Dan took Carter with him to Kent's while the rest of us stayed home. Dan, Mayci and I have been fighting a horrible sinus infection. So I was pleasantly surprised when Carter, on her own free will, picked me up a card and one of my favorite treats while with Dan. It made my whole day!! I felt so loved, and my heart was definitely full at that moment. It's something that I will never forget. On a side note, I was really stressed this year trying to decide what kind of cake to make for Carter. Nothing was coming to mind, and time was running short. I'm so thankful for my wonderful friend Randi who came to my rescue and gave me the awesome idea to make an ipod. I found it very fitting to throw Justin Bieber on it. Dan took Carter to see his movie this weekend. He came home with all sorts of facts and was more excited than Carter was. He definitely had Bieber fever;) Can't say it enough, it was a wonderful weekend!!
