Today was such a fun day. We started our day bright and early with a visit to see Santa and the movie "Tangled". Mayci is such a good girl when it comes to movies. She sat through the whole thing. I loved watching her tiny hands reach inside our jumbo thing of popcorn. The thing was seriously as big as she was! She was also in her seventh heaven because she was able to drink Sprite. This may have been her first time drinking pop. You could tell too, she was loving it! "Tangled" is definitely one we'll be buying when it comes out. I was honestly scared about how she'd react with Santa. Her track record with strangers, and even people she knows isn't the greatest. I'm happy to announce that she did great! Not one cry or even one whine. I was so relieved. None of the kids in line before us cried. I was freaking out thinking that my child would be the one to break the silence. This was her first time seeing Santa. I'm so proud of her:) We also watched the light show they put on every year in Garland. Luckily it wasn't very cold. Mayci loved watching all the lights go by. I was kinda disappointed with how short it was:( Mayci was entertained so that's all that mattered. She loved the horse and carriage, but her favorite of all was when she saw the float with Santa. She instantly started pointing and waving and making all sorts of jibber jabber nonsense. It was absolutely adorable! To top it off, we came home and watched "Despicable Me". Two movies in one day, and I'm spent. It was a pretty cute movie though. What a wonderful day spent with my family.
